Sorel Liqueur by Jack From Brooklyn is a spirited version of the traditional West Indian drink often served in Jamaican restaurants. It's made by blending Moroccan hibiscus, Brazilian clove, Indonesian cassia and Nigerian ginger. This modern spin is the brainchild of Jackie Summers, the first black person granted a distiller's license since Prohibition.
At 30 proof (15% ABV), Sorel is an easy sipper. Pour it over the rocks or mix it in a cocktail, and you'll be transported back to your last Caribbean vacation faster than you can say, jerk chicken.
