Redwood Empire is a fairly new upstart distillery operating out of California. They do some cool environmentally friendly stuff like plant a tree for every bottle sold. The Haystack Needle is a 12-year-old bourbon sourced from MGP. It's finished in a port cask and bottled at cask strength. This bourbon has a bold and potent mouthfeel and palate due to the port finish. If you like port, you'll love this. It's not for the faint of heart.
