Founded in 2008, Middle West Spirits has quietly become Ohio's top whiskey distillery. Their straight wheat whiskey is crafted in small batches using locally sourced  wheat and aged a minimum of four years in new toasted and charred American white oak barrels. According to the Middle West Spirits, expect "aromas of pastry dough, nougat, and buttercream. A dry-yet-fruity medium body. A finish of spiced nuts, dried cherry, wheat bread, and baking spices."

The Pride Of C'bus

Happy seeing this in the shop as an Ohio boy. One of the best local distilleries. This wheat whiskey is one of my favorites and has a buttery goodness that makes it hard to put down.
