While Knob Creek is widely available but often overlooked, their 18-year-old expression is a limited release which is highly sought after with good reason. This is Beam's oldest regular offering. According to the Beam website, it has a complex full-bodied character with "notes of caramelized oak and hints of sweet vanilla and baking spices."

My old roommate put me on to this back in the day and I've been a devotee ever since. I put it up against EC18 or BTAC and buy it whenever I find a bottle. Oak forward but rounded out with brown sugar and tobacco. My favorite allocated release.
