Guillon-Painturaud V.S.O.P. Grande Champagne Cognac

If Hennessy is your everyday sipper, then give Guillon-Painturaud VSOP a try. This boutique estate is family-owned and they don't sell their cognac to the big houses. They age in French oak barrels for 15 years - much longer than most VSOP cognacs - and bottle without additives at 80 proof. Like Hennessy, this VSOP is rich, round and sweet, but the Guillon-Painturaud is more complex and has a creamier mouthfeel.
