Seven-year-old bourbon finished in an armagnac cask with french oak staves, and bottled at cask strength (117.56 proof).

TASTING NOTES

NOSE Enticing aromas of strawberry shortcake, enriched by the smoky depth of toasted oak, and a touch of rye spice. The bouquet is completed with whiffs of licorice, oak, and graham crackers.

TASTE The palate is enchanted with the creamy richness of French vanilla, transitioning seamlessly into the vibrant zest of dried orange and the fresh juiciness of apricot. Notes of honeycomb, brown sugar, dried berry, and vanilla toffee provide a delightful contrast.

FINISH The finish casts a spell with its rich, sweet viscosity balanced by a spicy undertone. Soft caramel, honeycomb, rye spice, and hints of strawberry offer a warm and satisfying conclusion.

Took a chance on something kinda new to the blending world. This is one heck of a bottle, from the Decanter keeper design to the label to the smooth juice, well above average 7yr taste. It does not drink its 117 proof which is stunning with a great finish! Thanks TSR for having rare collectible bottles.
