This single barrel tequila anejo from Corazon Tequila was produced using 100% blue weber agave. It was aged for 22 months in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel that was originally selected at the distillery on November 15, 2021 by Jessica Adkins, Kymi Lander-Douglas, Andy Thomas, Caleb Santana, David Coomer, Pierre Auguste and OJ Lima.

Nose is light and floral after resting five minutes in a glencairn, with some subtle bourbon notes on the end. Palate and mouthfeel is surprisingly soft and very very delicate for a barrel aged anejo. Quickly follows with a perfectly blended and beautiful kick to the tongue of cooked agave and a dash of the complex velvety bourbon and long spicy finish that we all know and love. This soft mouthfeel is perfect for bourbon drinkers that want to dip their toes into the agave game. The price point is a steal. 11/10
