This cask strength single barrel of straight Kentucky bourbon is old enough for fourth grade. It was distilled and bottled in Bardstown and has a high-corn mashbill. It commemorates TSR's third anniversary, and Season 10 (and 'Nem) of the Black & Brown podcast. It was hand-selected by Bill Stephens, Delvin Joyce, Raymond Culbert, Brodie Whitlock, Pierre Auguste and OJ Lima. A true collector's item, it's the first store pick released from Blue Run's "Chosen" single barrel program.

The chosen one

If you're reading reviews to see if you wanna buy the bottle, just go ahead and add it to your cart. Haven't had a miss yet and they won't start with this one. Beat butterfly bottle I've had so far.

🦋🎀! What’s not to love?

First of all, the bottle is a work of art, and I absolutely adore that they chose the pink butterfly. now onto the liquid… this is one of those bottles where the flavor matches the presentation. It’s potent but not hot. It’s not sweet but it gives peanut clusters and ripe plums. If you like a bold Kentucky bourbon, this is for you.

WOW!

it's overloaded with flavors. smells of fresh cherries but it's the peanut brittle on the palate that stands out to me. thick mouthfeel. bold finish. let's just face facts. TSR picks the best single barrels and this guy's no different.

Worth the price tag

I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this one. They don't reveal the mash bill, but I'd guess it's Heaven Hill because it reminds me of a well-aged Elijah Craig BP. Drank it with the guys this weekend while watchin college football and it was the run away favorite.
