Para este lanzamiento, Chicken Cock toma whisky de Kentucky y le aplica el tratamiento de doble barrica que enfatiza las notas de sabor de vainilla y crème brulée, y suaviza el final. La historia de Chicken Cock, que se anuncia a sí misma como "esa famosa y antigua marca", se remonta a 1856. Incluso se vendió en el famoso Cotton Club de Nueva York en la década de 1920. La marca resucitó en 2011 y actualmente se destila en Bardstown Bourbon Company.

More Than A Pretty Bottle

I'm always leery of "new old brands" and the term "Kentucky whiskey" didn't inspire confidence but after one too many good reviews I decided I had to try this out and am glad I did. I picked up notes of oak, toffee, and leather and at 92 proof, I could sip this all night. And the bottle is pretty to look at too. Will buy again.
