For this release, two barrels of Battle Point wheat whiskey were hand-selected at Bainbridge Organic Distillers by Keith Barnes, Pierre Auguste, and OJ Lima. The cask strength barrels were combined into a freshly dumped Mizunara oak cask that previously held Yama whiskey. After four months of secondary maturation, the blend clocked in at 132.56 proof. The trio conducted several proofing exercises and decided to bottle the finished whiskey at 100 proof, exclusively for Taste Select Repeat.

  • Age 6 Years, 71 Days (16-0191). 6 Years, 67 Days (16-0198).
  • Mash Bill 100% USDA Certified Organic soft white wheat (Williams Organic Farm, WA).
  • Cooperage McGinnis (New American white oak. 53 gallon. Char 3). Undisclosed cooperage in Hokkaido, Japan (Mizunara oak. 66 gallon. Japanese Char 3).
  • Warehouse #3 (Non-climate controlled). The Stillhouse (climate controlled).
  • Entry Proof 126 / 63% ABV
  • Final Proof 100 / 50% ABV
  • Loss 23% (Initial barrels). 7% (Finishing barrel)
  • Yield 346 Bottles.

Sir Mix a lot > Ichiro

I loved the first Bainbridge pick TSR did so I knew I was getting this one too. Even though both are wheat whiskey, they taste completely different. The last one was a 132-proof beast. This one goes down a lot smoother then hits you with that spice on the finish. Only thing I don't like about this one is how fast I'm finishing the bottle.

Unique flavors. It's a keeper.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this, because I don't know the brand. I'm glad I got one. I tasted caramel, cinnamon, and vanilla wrapped up with exotic peppery spices like palo santo and incense. Not too sweet. Not too spicy. Just right.

Best bottle of 2023 so far!

The best Bainbridge bottle I've ever had. I'm a fan of the brand so I buy all their stuff, and this one is next level. Sweet upfront from the wheat but that mizunara gives it a spicy kick on the finish. It's perfect at 100 proof. So crushable. I bought 2 bottles last week and already finished one with the boys.
