Family History With Sam Medley

We named DIY8 "Drunk in Love" because of the love story Sam Medley told us about his great grand parents.

Thomas Medley, a fifth-generation distiller, married his soulmate, Florence Wathen, the daughter of a fourth generation distiller. The union of these two families produced some of the greatest distillers Kentucky has ever seen. Charles Medley, Sam's father, was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2019. 

The history is so rich Sam agreed to share more details with a select group of TSR members. He also answered questions about Medley's proprietary mash bill and upcoming barrel stock.
