Learn To Build Your Own Whiskey Barrel

On August 11, TSR member Chandler Fulton will be teaching a workshop on the nearly-lost art of barrel making, also known as coopering, a vital element of the spirits-making process. 

Titled Barrel Age your own Whiskey and Craft Cocktails (Introduction to Barrel Making), the beginner-level workshop will teach participants how to build and char their very own 2-liter oak barrel for aging spirits. It is one of many exciting classes put on by Craftsman Ave. and will take place at their studios in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
