Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Tennessee whiskey and rye, hand-selected at the distillery by Dads Drinking Bourbon, Pierre Auguste and OJ Lima. Both single barrels are delicate. The whiskey has a fruity palate without being cloying, followed by a rye-forward finish that lingers softly. The rye has a pronounced peppery nose with an air-kiss of sweetness on the palate. Spice returns on the finish, but fades effortlessly. Neither bottle needs water or ice. Both are approachable neat, and easy to enjoy.
